Welcome to the IAYT accreditation process!
IAYT accreditation is a voluntary process designed for IAYT member schools who seek accreditation of their yoga therapy training programs that meet the IAYT Educational Standards for the Training of Yoga Therapists.
Before starting the Accreditation Process, it is necessary for you to review the Pre-Application Readiness Assessment and take the time to internally complete a self-assessment for your school and program's readiness to apply. If you have not done so, please review by clicking here.
About the Process

and requires a deep commitment.
IAYT’s goal is to be as supportive to its member schools as possible while
maintaining a fair and objective process.
accreditation application requires a great deal of data and information and the
review process is a rigorous one. We want to be sure you have all the
information and understanding that you need in order to submit a complete
application. This will save a lot of time and energy on both your part and the
part of IAYT and the Accreditation Committee once your application is
accreditation process begins with the Letter of Intent. In this process you will be guided and assisted to assure your program's readiness and make the application process smoother.
1, 2016, IAYT will begin accepting new applications twice a year:
15th – November 15th
15th – April 15th

Preparation for your application begins by gathering the required information and downloading the various templates that will be needed in your application. You must first
complete the Letter of Intent Process. If you have not done so, please
click on the link above for the Letter of Intent.
For new applicants:
- You must be a current IAYT Member School and logged in with your school username and password.
- If you don't know your Member School username and/or password, click on "Forgot your password?" link in the right-hand column of any page and you'll be taken to another page that enables you to reset your password or retrieve your username.
- If you still can't retrieve your Member School username and/or password or otherwise need help to log into the application, send a Contact Us form for Accreditation Administration.
- Once signed in, click on the link below and you will be taken to the Applications Instruction page to begin the process.
