I am a movement specialist, researcher of practices and contemplative mediums. As a graduate student on the Ph.D. track in applied physiology at Columbia University, I am interested in the application of yoga for managing chronic diseases and how yoga might influence positive health behaviors. I have been a yoga instructor in the NYC area since 1996 and have taught over 25,000 hours. I was the first full time yoga therapist at a major hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where I authored research and clinical protocols for the Integrative Medicine Service.
